“ This place was great. My wife is celiac and always has a tough time finding proper gluten free fish and chips. Found this place on google so we went into try and it was awesome. Batter was extremely good and the fish and calamari was crispy. Had a chance to talk with the owner and she was the sweetest and made sure to tell us they use separate fryers to make sure there is no cross contamination. There are also other options other than fish like calamari and chicken fingers. Will definitely be back! ”
“ Delicious experience. We drove over 40 mins. this afternoon to enjoy another feast at Maggie's. Owner is always cheerful and helpful. The premises is clean and tidy. Great variety of seafood choices. We both had 2/pc cod - me Ling. This cook has never let us down. Fish is cooked to perfection as always in the most light, bubbly golden crisp batter. Plate was well presented. Unlike a lot of others the perfect fries are hand cut in house. Coleslaw tasty and fresh as is the seafood. You can tell by looks and taste that the cooking oil is changed often. Overall a nice, relaxing experience.. Thanks to Maggie's Fish and chips. See you soon. (Good value too. Price is a couple less than other quality fish & chips.) ”

It's probably a "true" white clam chowder, which is fine, but I want more than that in my chowder. Busy spot, lots of takeout and other delivery drivers in and out. Very basic, cafeteria style seating. Fantastic that there are more than just the basic options for fish and chips, and they make a gluten free version as well that is apparently tasty. ”

“ We had tried two other fish and chips places with pretty good reviews, and while the food wasn't bad, but we were really hoping to taste fish and chips made with fresh, locally caught fish from Vancouver Island. Many local friends recommended this place to us, and today we finally had the chance to visit—and it truly did not disappoint! It turns out this is the only restaurant where we could actually taste fish and chips made with fresh local fish. Even better, the prices were more affordable than the other two spots we tried. When we dined in, the restaurant was quiet and clean—perfect for truly enjoying the food. We ordered the lingcod, and it was excellent. The batter was light and crispy, while the fish was thick and fresh—just like a classic British-style fish and chips should be. The thick-cut fresh fries and house-made dill tartar sauce were also absolutely delicious.We’d love to come back and try more next time—there are so many tempting options to choose from! ”
